East Tawakoni Race Across the SSGT McNabb Memorial Bridge is May 11, 2024.  This is East Tawakoni’s 4^th annual race.  Volunteers are needed in several different categories.  As always, no event takes place in East Tawakoni without our volunteers.  The proceeds for the race go into an account and will be paired with a future Texas Parks & Wildlife grant to renovate our City Park.  If you would like to be a part of this event and can volunteer your time, please contact Sheila Thompson at (817)692-6591.

The 4^th annual 5K and Nautical Mile Fun Run/Walk Race Across the SSGT McNabb Bridge is May 11, 2024.  We have runners and walkers signed up from across Texas. Our Rains ISD Cheerleaders will be there to cheer you on and give you your medal (or medals if you plan to do both the 5K & Nautical Mile) and your race music from one of the rescue boats is ready to play your favorite tunes.  Come and walk with family, friends, or pets (leash please – only applies to pets – not family and friends), or run/walk the 5K!  T-Shirts and medals for everyone.  It’s going to be a great day on the lake!  Sign up at getmeregistered.com/EastTawakoni.  Questions?  Call or text 903-480-8910 or email reginamchandler@gmail.com.
