Water/Sewer Supervisor Opening

THE CITY OF EAST TAWAKONI has an immediate opening for a Water/Sewer Supervisor. This position will include water distribution system, sewer collection system. Plan, direct and review the activities of the Public Works and Public Utilities Departments, including engineering, water/wastewater, infrastructure inspections, traffic operations and street maintenance; coordinates assigned activities with other City departments and outside agencies. Responsible for planning, organizing, directing and coordinating the activities of the several divisions comprising the Public Works and Public Utilities Departments. The Public Works Director is responsible for determining major departmental policies, for planning long-term programs and for making difficult technical decisions. Must possess a high school diploma. Must hold a minimum of a Class B/C water License as issued by TCEQ. Must hold a Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator Class B/C as issued by the TCEQ.
